With all the stress and concerns we live with in today’s world I thought that I would share something more on the lighter side this month. I ran across a paper that I have had for years and while it is dated somewhat I want to share it with you. It is titled “God is Like”.
God is like Coca-Cola - He’s the real thing.
God is like Pan Am - He makes the going great.
God is like General Electric - He lights your path.
God is like Bayer Aspirin - He works wonders.
God is like Hallmark Cards - He cares enough to send the very best.
God is like Tide - He gets the stains out that others leave behind.
God is like V05 hair spray - He holds through all kinds of weather.
God is like Dial soap - Aren’t you glad you know him? Don’t you wish everybody did?
God is like Sears - He has everything.
God is like Alka-Seltzer - Try him, you’ll like him.
God is like Scotch tape - You can’t see him but you know he’s there.

We need to begin to search for God in our places of work. God is already there, make no mistake about it; we simply have not trained ourselves to see our creator.

The ministry metric that LGF pays the most attention is to the number of Bible messages listened to each month through technology. LGF Bible messages have been listened to 41,100 times since it's founding in December of 2005, but the monthly number has grown to reach 6,226 listens for the month of October. The reason LGF pays the most attention to this metric is because of what God's Word says:
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!" But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?" So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
