Jesus Rescues Us

So I find it to be a law that when I want to do what is good, evil lies close at hand. For I delight in the law of God in my inmost self, but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched person that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Jesus paid the ultimate price by giving His own life, weighed down with the sins of man from the past, present and future, that men may be free of sin and spend eternity with God. Jesus accepts man just as he is when he comes to Him to seek forgiveness. A person doesn't have to do anything to prepare or clean up his act when he humbly approaches the Lord Jesus for forgivness of sin. He believes on the Lord Jesus , sorrowfully asks forgiveness of sin. What love that God had for man that He sent His only son to get rid of man's sin problem, so that man could spend eternity with Him. Also what love did Jesus have for those He died for as He who was sinless took on man's sin so man could be forgiven. To God be the Glory!
