With the New Year just hours away now, we at LovingGodFellowship.org pray that you have a blessed 2011 and that God will open the windows of heaven and pour out all spiritual blessings to you. We thank God that you are part of the LGF worldwide family and look forward to continuing our relationship in the coming year.
As of the writing of this we are 96% away from reaching our 2010 fund raising goal. It would be a blessing if you could help us spread the word today to others. At the bottom of the page at http://wishes.causes.com/wishes/143183, you can share our need on facebook, twitter and email. All we need is 868 people donating $10 before midnight tonight to reach our goal. Together, we can do it!
When it comes down to being a provider of God's love, there is really only one provider, who sends us out with nothing at all and with everything we need: healing, forgiveness, restoration, resurrection. Those are the only things we really have to share with the world, which is just as well, since they are the only things the world really needs.
The Spirit immediately drove him out into the wilderness. He was in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels waited on him. - Mark 1:12-13

Simeon took him [Jesus] in his arms and praised God, saying: "Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel." -- Luke 2:28-32

[The shepherds] hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby [Jesus], who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed ... But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. -- Luke 2:16-20

In the Old Testament, the prophet Isaiah foretold the birth of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 9:6 NIV) "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Oh how I praise God that He had a plan of redemption for man. Even before the foundations of the earth, God knew we would need Jesus Christ.
The word of God tells us (John 1:1-5 NIV) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. {2} He was with God in the beginning. {3} Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. {4} In him was life, and that life was the light of men. {5} The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." God wrapped flesh around the word and sent him to earth as a new born babe. They called him Jesus because he will save his people from their sins.
If God cared enough about us to send his one and only son to earth to die for our sins, why don’t we, instead of spending countless time, effort and money on things that are temporal, spend countless time, effort and money on the real reason for the season, Jesus Christ? Take time to pray, read the Word, pray for someone in need and by all means be sure that when people look at you they see the love of Jesus Christ shining through your life. Jesus is the real reason for the season.
This month it has been five years since Greg and I founded Loving God Fellowship (LGF) in December 2005. We are currently ministering to 8,968 people around the world per day. Last month, Bible messages were listened to 5,964 times through Internet technology. We thank God for all those who send in monthly support that allows us to minister the love of Christ to people all around the world.
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, ... But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. -- Joshua 24:15

As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children-- with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. As I was returning to earth, I realized that I was a servant - not a celebrity. So I am here as God's servant on planet Earth to share what I have experienced that others might know the glory of God.
The day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives.

My dear friends, don't believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world. Here's how you test for the genuine Spirit of God. Everyone who confesses openly his faith in Jesus Christ -- the Son of God, who came as an actual flesh-and-blood person -- comes from God and belongs to God. And everyone who refuses to confess faith in Jesus has nothing in common with God. This is the spirit of antichrist that you heard was coming. Well, here it is, sooner than we thought!

Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God’s Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. With all the stress and concerns we live with in today’s world I thought that I would share something more on the lighter side this month. I ran across a paper that I have had for years and while it is dated somewhat I want to share it with you. It is titled “God is Like”.
God is like Coca-Cola - He’s the real thing.
God is like Pan Am - He makes the going great.
God is like General Electric - He lights your path.
God is like Bayer Aspirin - He works wonders.
God is like Hallmark Cards - He cares enough to send the very best.
God is like Tide - He gets the stains out that others leave behind.
God is like V05 hair spray - He holds through all kinds of weather.
God is like Dial soap - Aren’t you glad you know him? Don’t you wish everybody did?
God is like Sears - He has everything.
God is like Alka-Seltzer - Try him, you’ll like him.
God is like Scotch tape - You can’t see him but you know he’s there.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday this month and may God bless and keep you. Please keep me, my family and the worldwide ministry of LovingGodFellowship.org in your prayers as we keep you in ours.
We thank God for all those who send in monthly support, either online or by mail, that allows us to minister the love of Christ to people all around the world. We need to begin to search for God in our places of work. God is already there, make no mistake about it; we simply have not trained ourselves to see our creator.
Loving God Fellowship (LGF) continues to experience exciting growth through technology. In October 2010 the LGF ministry sphere of influence through technology grew to 7,968 people per day through:
The ministry metric that LGF pays the most attention is to the number of Bible messages listened to each month through technology. LGF Bible messages have been listened to 41,100 times since it's founding in December of 2005, but the monthly number has grown to reach 6,226 listens for the month of October. The reason LGF pays the most attention to this metric is because of what God's Word says:
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!" But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?" So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
(Rom 10:14-17 ESV)
People around the world can utilize technology to listen to Christ centric Bible messages at LGF:

Hope is the strongest driving force for a people. Hope which brings about change, which produces new realities, is what opens man's road to freedom. Once hope has taken hold, courage must unite with wisdom. That is the only way of avoiding violence, the only way of maintaining the calm one needs to respond peacefully to offenses.
