Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong (NLT).

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (ESV).

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life (NLT)."

For the mountains may depart, 
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,
says the Lord, who has compassion on you (NRSV).

I am leaving you with a gift — peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid (NLT). — Jesus
